Coconut poha is a typical Maharashtrian poha recipe with rice flakes or poha cooked with coconut flakes, chopped onion, coconut, sugar, salt and coriander leaves. - Make ready 1 tsp groundnuts

- Take 2 tsp sev
- Get 6-7 curry leaves
To the roasted and cooled poha, add the fried nuts, coconut & roasted chana dal. Add the fried crushed chili & curry leaves. Add the tempering of mustard seeds, turmeric, asafetida, sesame seeds & curry leaves. Add salt, powdered sugar and citric acid.
Steps to make Coconut Poha:
- Heat 2 tsp in a pan. Add jeera,mustard,curry leaves. Add ground nuts Saute them for 1 min.
- Then add onions and chilli and roast till the onion changes it's colour.
- Then add turmeric, chilli powder and saute well
- Then add soaked poha. Cover the lid and simmer for 5 min. Turn off the flame. Then add lemon juice, coriander and grated coconut.Mix all gently.
- Finally serve poha with some sev on top.
Add the tempering of mustard seeds, turmeric, asafetida, sesame seeds & curry leaves. Add salt, powdered sugar and citric acid. You can remove soon if you don't want a soft one. Flattened rice is washed and later it is added to coconut milk. Jaggery and cardamom is added for sweetness and flavour.
