  1. For tomato onion coconut chutney. In a pan add 2 tbps oil and put ginger and urad dal saute for 1 minute. Now add chopped onion and saute for 1 minute. Now add tomato and mix turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix well for 1 minute. Take it out and let it cool.
  2. Now in this mixture add coconut and blend it well adding small amount of water.
  3. For simple coconut chutney add coconut, salt, tamarind and chilli. Blend the mixture well adding small quantity of water.
  4. Both chutney's are ready. In a pan add 1 tbps oil and add curry leaf and Rai in it. Saute for 30 sec and use this to garnish chutney.
