- After about 5 minutes. Add the zest to the pan along with some more zesty water. Keep stirring otherwise it'll burn and bubble over the pan
- This roughly takes about 30 minutes however mine too a lot longer because I added extra sugar for a cake I was making
- I had to add a small amount of extra water when I reheated it to be able to spoon it onto a cake so if you want to spoon it on to a cake straight away make sure the cake it already cold because it will harden almost immediately as soon as its off the heat.
