Steps to make Sour Seedai recipe:
- Grind green chillies to a fine paste by adding little water.
- Fry rice flour until we can draw lines with this fried rice flour.
- Mix fried rice flour and bengal gram flour. Add salt.
- Filter the grinded green chillies juice and add to it. Then add 5 Lemons juice to it.
- Now add the tempering.
- Mix well. if needed sprinkle with little water. Now it's ready.
- Touch oil in hand and make small balls like this.
- Now heat kadai. Pour oil. Once oil is heated add the balls to it.
- Fry them until balls becomes golden brown and bubbles are reduced.
- Now it's ready to enjoy the taste.
To get it right, you have to make rice flour and urad dal flour at home. But you can use store bought flours too. Dry roast grated coconut too until golden and dry, in medium flame. In a mixing bowl, add the sieved flour, red chilli powder, butter, roasted coconut sesame seeds, asafoetida, salt and mix well. Add water to make a dough.
