It's commonly known as khata dhoklas and are my favorite savory snack. However my version of White Dhokla is not made from sour curd. Here comes our very own gujarati dhokla in a different style tossed with chilies. Chili dhokla is a traditional dhokla recipe with a twist of dhokla with green chilies and capsicum.

  1. First add in a bowl besan,rava,redchilly powder,turmeric and sieve it now add curd and mix by adding water in it into thick batter.Keep it for rest for 20minutes.
  2. After it mix the batter add salt and sugar mix it nicely.Add lemonjuice,1tsp oil,eno,bakingsoda and foodcolour and mix.
  3. Now take a wok add water in it place a bowl upside down place stand in it.Add batter in a plate and tap place it in the stand cover with lid for 15-20minutes and check by inserting knife.
  4. When it cooks take out the plate let it cool cut in squares.Take a spoon add oil and mustard seeds and curry leaves,greenchilly spread the tadka in dhokla now spread grated papaya and coriander leaves and enjoy.
