  4. If the fritter batter becomes too thin, add a spoonful of gram flour at a time until you get the right consistency (the mixture should NOT be runny, rather should be able to hold well together)
  5. On a parchment lined oven tray, arrange the prepared fritters and brush with 1 tbls of oil
  6. Grill the fritters in the oven for 20 minutes (or until golden brown). Remove from oven, flip fritters, brush with the remainder tbls of oil and return to grill on the other side
  7. Remove from oven, allow to cool and serve with your favourite side dipping sauce

Cut off the top of the garlic bulb and discard. Place on the bottom shelf of the oven. Place the bell peppers on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with the olive oil and use your hands to coat them well. Sprinkle the bell peppers with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano and red pepper flakes.
