  6. Add 1/4 cup grated coconut, mix well cook for 2 min on low flame.
  7. Add the cardamom, dry ginger, cumin seeds powder. 1 TSP.
  8. Add 1&1/2 tbsp ghee into the rice and mix well. Switch off the flame. The rice will be in a thick consistency.
  9. Add roasted cashews into the rice and mix well.
  10. Serve the payasam hot or warm
