- Wash. small cut cross at top.boil 5 mintes.
- Peel tamatoes and chopped.
- Heat oil.put garlic saute add onions saute.till transperence.
- Add tomato saute.add salt.
- Add chilli flakes, Tomato sauce.mix well.
- Add oregano herbs sugar,red chilli powder.mix well.
- Cook..few minutes. Pizza sauce ready.
- Note: grind sauce your choice…Store in one week
The main difference is that pizza sauce is raw, whereas pasta sauce is cooked. In the region where my mother is from, oregano is for pizza sauce, not pasta sauce. Also, don't believe for a minute that either one should be "thick" or "heavy." If you end up with a thick pizza sauce, you're not making anything remotely Italian. Pizza sauce is thicker. this goes along with the point above, but pizza sauce contains tomato paste, which causes it to spread easier and more evenly! This might be my own opinion, but we like a lot more spices in our pizza sauce than we do in our spaghetti sauce!
