- In a pan put oil once oil is hot add garlic and onion, cooked 3 to 4 min.
- After that add oregano,basil and chilli flakes, mix well and cooked 1 to 2 min.
- Now add tomato and also put salt according to your taste now covered the pan and cook 6 to 8 min.
- When the mixture start living the side then add sugar, paprika powder and tomato ketchup and cook 2 to 3 min.
- Now it’s ready but we’ll wait until it comes to cool down at room temperature when it’s cool we grained it. Now ready to use.
The main difference is that pizza sauce is raw, whereas pasta sauce is cooked. In the region where my mother is from, oregano is for pizza sauce, not pasta sauce. Also, don't believe for a minute that either one should be "thick" or "heavy." If you end up with a thick pizza sauce, you're not making anything remotely Italian. Pizza sauce is thicker. this goes along with the point above, but pizza sauce contains tomato paste, which causes it to spread easier and more evenly! This might be my own opinion, but we like a lot more spices in our pizza sauce than we do in our spaghetti sauce!
