- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Place the oil, orange juice, baking soda and sugar in a large bowl. Mix well. Add the grape must syrup, the cinnamon water, the zest, the tsipouro, the clove and then the flour, little by little.
- Knead until you get a soft and and well incorporated mixture. Place in an oiled baking tray and spread it with your fingers that you have wetted slightly with tsipouro.
- Sprinkle the pie with the sesame seeds and bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes.
Mix the baking soda, flour (sifted) and make a well where you add the liquid ingredients and knead lightly. In a large saucepan, whisk cornstarch and water until smooth; whisk in syrup. Remove from heat; stir in butter until melted. A syrupy custard pie "Galaktoboureko" is a traditional Greek dessert. Made with phyllo pastry, filled with a semolina cream, and soaked in syrup.
